Shortly after the opening, the MASI 20, which includes the 20 most liquid stocks, advanced by 0.74% to 1,314.79 points, while the MASI ESG, an index of companies with the best ESG ratings published by Moody’s ESG Solutions, increased by 0.83% to 1,139.88 points.
The MASI Mid and Small Cap, which tracks the performance of small and medium-sized listed companies, gained 0.56% to 1,696.29 points.
On Wednesday, the MASI had closed with a gain of 1.22%.
The Casablanca Stock Exchange began trading on a positive note on Thursday, with its main index, the MASI, rising by 0.64% to 16,210.02 points.
