A press release from DGSN-DGST hub states that the new items were uncovered in an uninhabited area of the Sidi Larbi housing estate in Ain Aouda (outskirts of Rabat), after having been buried under heaps of soil by members of the terrorist cell arrested in Tamesna.
Morocco’s Central Bureau of Judicial Investigation (BCIJ) mobilized drilling equipment to extract the components of this explosive device, which were inventoried and placed among sealed objects seized in connection with this case, the same source adds.
Ongoing searches and investigations following Wednesday's dismantling of the terrorist cell linked to the African branch of ISIS have led to the seizure of additional items, notably another explosive device in the assembly phase, consisting of a gas bottle linked to pipes and electrical wires.
