Morocco International Meeting: 'Ghasham' Wins HM King Mohammed VI's Grand Prix for Arabian Thoroughbreds

“Ghasham”, mounted by Amine Moughat, won the major event on this competition’s second day, organized by Royal Society of Horse Encouragement (SOREC) for Arabian thoroughbreds. The first day was dedicated to English thoroughbreds.

The HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan Grand Prix for Arabian thoroughbreds went to the Fal Stud horse “Al Mambir Fal”, mounted by Khalid Ibba.

Mohamed Daissaoui’s horse “Buraak”, mounted by Mohcine Lafram, earned HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid Grand Prix.

The United Arab Emirates President’s Cup was clinched by the horse “Alataat”, owned by Mustapha Ahmed Teeka and mounted by Khaled Miftah Alamari.

The program also included Turkish the Jockey Club Award, won by horse “Djayzam Maamora”, property of Nour-Eddine Bajjou and mounted by Ayoub Rayi, while the horse “Bazula Fal”, owned by Fal Stud and mounted by Reda Moussa, clinched the Royal Moroccan Association of Horse Breeders (ARMEC) award.

At the end of the competitions, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests Ahmed Bouari, the Wali of the Casablanca-Settat region, governor of the Casablanca prefecture Mohamed Mhidia, and governor of Casablanca-Anfa district prefecture Aziz Dadas, respectively presented the winners with HM King Mohammed VI’s Grand Prix, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan Grand Prix and HRH Prince Moulay Rachid Grand Prix.

HM King Mohammed VI Grand Prix for English thoroughbreds was awarded Saturday to the horse “Al Othmane”, owned by Mohammed Aziz Bennani and mounted by Aziz Jabafi.

The horse “Ghasham”, owned by Atlas Stud, won on Sunday at the Casablanca-Anfa racecourse HM King Mohammed VI's Grand Prix for Arabian thoroughbreds, as part of the 10th Morocco International Meeting for horse races.
