Morocco, France Set to Boost Academic, Scientific Cooperation

The meeting comes a day after Morocco and France signed a Declaration of Intent in the field of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, at a ceremony chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the French President, H.E. Emmanuel Macron.

The meeting was an opportunity for the two leaders to pay tribute to the quality of the ties that bind the two countries, and to congratulate each other on the opening of a new chapter in the exceptional strategic partnership supported by the two Heads of State.

Discussions between the two ministers focused on the implementation of the Declaration of Intent in the field of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation.

In a bid to strengthen the excellent academic and scientific cooperation relations between Morocco and France, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, Azzeddine El Midaoui, and the French Minister of Higher Education and Research, Patrick Hetzel held talks on Tuesday in Rabat.
