Significant rainfall ranging from 20 to 40 mm are expected in the provinces of Al Haouz, Azilal, Zagora, Ouarzazate, and Aousserd from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., the DGM pointed out in an “orange” alert.
In addition to heavy rainfall, the storms may bring hail and high winds, posing potential risks of localized flooding and disruptions.
Thunderstorms, accompanied by hail and strong winds, are expected this Sunday in several provinces of the Kingdom, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) announced.
