“His Majesty the King places great importance on youth issues,” Dialla said on the sidelines of the 2025 Pan-African Youth Leadership Summit, which opened in Addis Ababa.

He also expressed gratitude to Morocco, which hosts the PYU headquarters, calling the Kingdom the Union’s largest partner.

Thanks to Morocco’s support, the PYU plays a pivotal role across Africa, fostering an ecosystem that promotes development for Africans in general and young people in particular, he added.

Dialla underscored the importance of youth engagement in advancing African unity and building a prosperous, united, and developed continent.

Co-organized by the Ethiopian government and the PYU, the summit seeks to strengthen youth participation in peacebuilding efforts and continental development. Discussions will focus on diplomacy, economic empowerment, and Africa’s role on the global stage.

The President of the Pan-African Youth Union (PYU), Moumouni Dialla, on Thursday praised HM King Mohammed VI’s leadership and commitment to youth issues, highlighting Morocco’s key role in supporting the organization.
