With a streak of eight consecutive victories, Morocco’s Atlas Lions aim for maximum points against Niger and Tanzania, as noted by the Federation on its official website, highlighting Morocco’s thundering offensive efficiency.

“Morocco has scored four goals or more in six of their last seven matches, showing their formidable attacking strength and the intense playing style they apply on the field under Regragui’s leadership, FIFA wrote.

The global football governing body highlighted the role of Real Madrid star Brahim Díaz, who “quickly established himself as one of the team’s standout stars.”

Diaz is not the only star on which Regragui can rely, FIFA wrote. Achraf Hakimi has been “one of the most important players for Paris Saint-Germain, who qualified for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League at Liverpool’s expense.

There is also Yassine Bounou, the goalkeeper for Al Hilal, who have succeeded in reaching the finals of the AFC Champions League Elite, FIFA added.

These factors make Morocco a strong contender for qualification to the next World Cup,” FIFA emphasized, noting that to “achieve this, they must first give their all on the field in the upcoming two matches.”

The Federation Internationale de Football Association FIFA emphasized that the "impressive" Morocco is in pole position to secure its spot for the 2026 World Cup.
