Morocco, Yemen Sign Key Agreements, MoUs in 6th Joint Commission Meeting

Thus, the two parties signed an agreement on the mutual recognition of driving licenses, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of water resources, a memorandum of understanding for technical cooperation in road and port infrastructure, as well as a memorandum of understanding to strengthen cooperation activities in meteorology and climatology.

The two ministers also signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of vocational training, an executive agreement on training and vocational education, and an agreement that includes an executive cooperation program in the field of higher education and scientific research for the period 2025-2027.

At the end of the session, Morocco and Yemen expressed their satisfaction with the quality of the relations established between the two countries and their positive development, in line with the political will and the enlightened guidance of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, and His brother, H.E. Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen, who are committed to raising these ties to higher levels, broadening their horizons, and embedding them in a strong dynamic that meets the aspirations of the two Heads of State and their two brotherly peoples.

Morocco and Yemen signed several agreements and memoranda of understanding covering various vital sectors on Friday in Rabat, during the 6th session of the Morocco-Yemen Joint Commission.
