These meetings were conducted with the Ministers of Culture from several Arab countries including Lebanon, Bahrain, Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Mauritania and Djibouti, as well as with the Iraqi Director General of Culture and Kuwait’s Secretary General of the National Council for Culture, said a statement from the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication.
These meetings served as an opportunity to reaffirm the strength of bilateral relations between these countries and the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as the level of cooperation in various fields, the statement added.
Under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and in accordance with the Sovereign’s enlightened vision, Morocco is committed to joint Arab action and multilateral cooperation within the Arab world, Bensaid assured his Arab counterparts.
Discussions focused on issues related to cultural exchanges, the sharing of expertise in the fields of culture and heritage, as well as coordination within various relevant regional and international bodies, in addition to cultural matters of common interest, it was emphasized.
On Wednesday, Morocco hosted the 24th session of the Conference of Arab Ministers of Culture, which concluded with recommendations aimed at promoting and adapting cultural action in light of challenges related to digitization and artificial intelligence.
