On the eve of the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump slated for Monday, the congressman recalled the proclamation issued by Trump during his first term and which recognizes Morocco’s full sovereignty over its Sahara.
The Republican Representative, who said that he appreciates chairing the U.S.-Morocco Caucus at the House of Representative, warned, during this session, against the “threat” posed by the “terrorist” militia, the “polisario” and its supporters to stability in West Africa.
Morocco is an "essential" and a long-standing partner to the United States, underlined U.S. Congressman Joe Wilson during a congressional hearing held Wednesday, while recalling his country’s historic decision to recognize the Kingdom’s sovereignty over its Sahara.
