Morocco to Host 2025 AFCON Draw on January 27

In a press release published following a meeting of its Executive Committee, held on Monday in Marrakech, CAF confirms the dates of this continental competition, which will be held from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026 in Morocco.

The meeting of the Executive Committee of African soccer’s governing body, chaired by CAF President Patrice Motsepe, was devoted in particular to examining CAF’s competition calendar for 2025.

Thus, the next U17 AFCON will be held from March 30 to April 19, 2025 in Morocco, while the U20 AFCON will take place from April 26 to May 18, 2025 in Côte d’Ivoire.

The final of the CAF Champions League 2024-25 will take place on May 24, 2025 (first leg) and June 1 (second leg).

As for the final of the CAF Cup 2024-25, the first leg will take place on May 17, 2025, while the return leg will be played on the 25th of the same month.

As for the Women’s Champions League, the opening match will take place on November 8, 2025, while the final will be played on the 23rd of the same month.

The draw for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON Morocco-2025) will take place on January 27 in Rabat, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced.
