In a statement to the press on the occasion of his participation in the MEDays Forum, Al-Maliki also commended the breadth of Moroccan solidarity with the Palestinian cause, noting that this solidarity “is a source of strength and pride for the Palestinians.”

He recalled the message sent by HM the King to the President of the United Nations Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People. According to him the royal message “reflects the alignment of positions between the Sovereign and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.”

“This demonstrates that both leaders, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, share a common vision, diagnosis, and strategic outlook on how to address this issue,” he said.

The Special Envoy of the Palestinian President also lauded the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the State of Palestine as a model of fraternal ties between two brotherly nations.

Regarding his participation in the MEDays Forum, Riyad Al-Maliki stated that this important international gathering serves as a platform to meet representatives of various countries and African institutions in order to advocate for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

Palestinian President Special Envoy Riyad Al-Maliki praised, on Saturday in Tangier, HM King Mohammed VI's continued support for the Palestinian cause. He highlighted that the Sovereign, as Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, is deeply committed to supporting the resilience of the inhabitants of the holy city, particularly through the initiatives of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency.
