The second draft decree relates to the implementation of Section Three, Chapter IV, Title I of the law on nuclear and radiological safety and security, and the establishment of the Moroccan Agency for Nuclear and Radiological Safety and Security (AMSSNuR), regarding the application of safeguards under the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.

The Council will conclude its proceedings by examining proposals for appointments to higher office, in accordance with the provisions of Article 92 of the Constitution, the statement concludes.

A government council, chaired by Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch, is scheduled for Thursday, according to a statement from his office.
