Morocco International Meeting: 'Al Othmane' Wins HM King Mohammed VI's Grand Prix for English Thoroughbreds

“Al Othmane”, mounted by Aziz Jabafi, won the major event on this competition’s first day, organized by Royal Society of Horse Encouragement (SOREC) for English thoroughbreds. The second day will be dedicated to Arabian thoroughbreds.

 

 

Celebrating Morocco International Meeting’s 10th anniversary, 14 races are scheduled over two days, including eight international competitions.

The races will be broadcast in some twenty countries, including the United States, the Netherlands, Germany, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium, Australia, New Zealand, Cyprus, Turkey, Sweden, Côte d’Ivoire, Italy and France, for race fans worldwide to enjoy live.

Sunday’s Arabian thoroughbred competition day includes four prestigious prizes, namely HM King Mohammed VI’s Grand Prix, HRH Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan’s Grand Prix, HRH Prince Moulay Rachid Grand Prix and the UAE President’s Cup.

The horse “Al Othmane”, owned by Mohammed Aziz Bennani, won on Saturday at the Casablanca-Anfa racecourse HM King Mohammed VI's Grand Prix for English thoroughbreds, as part of the 10th Morocco International Meeting for horse races.
