Morocco's Loudyi Receives Chief of Staff of Saudi Armed Forces

In a statement, the National Defense Administration said that during the meeting, the two parties welcomed the positive results of defense cooperation and the excellent age-old relations between the two kingdoms, as evidenced by the density of joint activities and the frequency of visits by defense officials and executives from both countries under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The Saudi General praised the high priority of the partnership with Morocco, and took the opportunity to express his admiration for the impressive level of economic and social development achieved by the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty the King, making Morocco a dynamic player and a haven of stability and peace for its Euro-Mediterranean and African neighbors, the same source continued.

At the end of the meeting, the two leaders expressed their shared ambition and desire to consolidate and further develop cooperation in the field of defense and security, the press release concludes.

In keeping with Royal Instructions, Morocco's Abdeltif Loudyi, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government, in charge of the National Defense Administration, received Lieutenant General Fayyadh bin Hamad Al-Ruwaili, Chief of Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces, at the Administration's headquarters on Tuesday, on the sidelines of his participation in the Marrakech Air Show 2024.
