Thirteen survivors have been rescued, while efforts to locate the missing are ongoing, Lahbib Aznag, the provincial delegate for Health and Social Protection ministry, told MAP, adding that authorities have mobilized extensive logistical and human resources to aid in the search and rescue operations.

The floods, triggered by unusually heavy rains, have caused widespread damage across the Tata province, including the complete or partial collapse of several homes, the destruction of infrastructure, and disruptions to traffic on key routes.

Ten people have been confirmed dead and seven remain missing after a bus was swept away by floodwaters in the eastern province of Tata, following severe rainstorms last Friday, the provincial Health and Social Protection delegation reported in an updated toll.
