This operation, carried out jointly with police officers at the import terminal, was conducted following the scanning of a vehicle coming from abroad, according to a press release from the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab regional customs office.
Drugs were concealed in a hiding place inside the cab of the vehicle, the same source added.
The regional customs office of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab on Tuesday foiled an attempt to smuggle 38kg of cocaine into Morocco at the El Guergarat border crossing (south of Dakhla).
