Cape Verde-Morocco Parliamentary Friendship Group Chairperson Reiterates His Country's Support for Kingdom's Territorial Integrity

Pereira Dias, accompanied by a prominent parliamentary delegation, emphasized during talks with Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, that this position is invariable and that his country supports Morocco in the various regional and international gatherings, the Lower House said in a press release. 

Besides, the Chairperson of the Cape Verde-Morocco Parliamentary Friendship Group expressed his appreciation of the efforts of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah assist him, to serve and develop Africa. In the same regard, he praised the grand projects launched by the Kingdom and the manifestations of development and prosperity the Kingdom sees under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty, may Allah protect him. 

On this occasion, he expressed his appreciation of the efforts of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to serve and develop Africa, praising the grand projects launched by the Kingdom and the manifestations of development and prosperity the Kingdom sees under the Sovereign’s enlightened leadership.

For his part, the Speaker of the House of Representatives expressed his thanks to the Government and Parliament of Cape Verde for their support to their territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco, praising the relations uniting the two countries.

He also noted that the current visit of the Parliamentary Friendship Group and similar visits would extend the bridges of cooperation and constant communication between the two legislative institutions and create new horizons for partnership and coordination within the various parliamentary fora. 

The meeting also underscored the excellent quality of the friendship ties uniting the two countries and the mutual support in the various international fora, the same source added.

The two parties also gave overviews of the parliamentary experiences of the two countries and underscored the importance of communication, constant dialogue, the exchange of visits, and the sharing of parliamentary experiences and expertise in solidifying relations between the two legislative institutions and advancing them towards serving the shared interests and questions and development in Africa. 

Chairperson of the Cape Verde-Morocco Parliamentary Friendship Group, Orlando Pereira Dias, reiterated, on Monday at the Seat of the House of Representatives in Rabat, his country’s support to the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Morocco and its sovereignty over its entire territories.
