Oussama Lamlioui netted the decisive goal in the 76th minute at the Municipal Stadium in Berkane, firing a low shot from the edge of the box to beat the Ivorian goalkeeper and secure progression for the Moroccan side.

Berkane, who also won the first leg 1-0 in Abidjan last week, weathered early pressure from the visitors before gradually imposing their rhythm in the second half.

Twice champions of the competition (2020, 2022) and runners-up in 2019 and 2024, the Moroccan club now await the winner of the all-Algerian quarter-final between CS Constantine and USM Alger.

The other semi-final will see Tanzania’s Simba SC face South Africa’s Stellenbosch FC.

RS Berkane advanced to the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup after a 1-0 home victory over Côte d’Ivoire’s ASEC Mimosas on Wednesday, sealing a 2-0 aggregate win in the quarter-final tie.
