The program aims to support Moroccan video game entrepreneurs in structuring, developing, and sustaining their businesses, while accelerating their skill development and strengthening synergies between Moroccan players in this ecosystem internationally.

Spanning five months of incubation and two months of follow-up, the program will provide the participating companies with comprehensive training on “video game preproduction,” brand and communication strategy, business management, production monitoring, and commercial and financial strategy.

It will also include experience exchanges with global gaming leaders, as well as sector partners and investors.

This project is part of the implementation of the MoU signed between Morocco and France last October, under the presidency of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and French President Emmanuel Macron, regarding support for and structuring the video game industry’s cultural and creative ecosystem, as stated by Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, who attended the launch ceremony.

The gaming industry is now of growing importance internationally, he said, hoping Moroccan companies will emerge as global leaders in this sector.

For his part, the founder and director of LLP (Level Link Partners), Julien Villedieu, explained that the nine video game creation companies in Morocco will be supported by this program to bring them to a level of international skills and standards, while connecting them to the global industry.

The "Video Game Incubator" program, aimed at incubating nine Moroccan startups specializing in the gaming industry, was launched on Monday in Rabat.
