Moroccan Caftan Honored at Turkmenistan Fashion Week

Thanks to designer Hind Berrada, the guest of honor at this prestigious event, the caftan—an iconic garment of Moroccan culture—captivated the Turkmen audience with its beauty and richness. 

The caftans showcased highlighted the ancestral expertise of Moroccan artisans while incorporating a touch of modernity and innovation. Sumptuous fabrics, delicate embroidery, and vibrant colors drew admiration and enthusiasm from the audience.  

This international event reflects the growing global recognition of the Moroccan caftan. Hind Berrada’s participation provided an opportunity to introduce this jewel of Moroccan craftsmanship to a new audience and to strengthen its international reach.  

Originally from Fez, the cradle of Moroccan craftsmanship, Hind Berrada is a passionate ambassador of the caftan, which she considers a symbol of Moroccan identity. 

The Moroccan caftan, a symbol of national ancestral heritage that embodies elegance and the finesse of traditional craftsmanship, was in the spotlight at the recent Fashion Week held in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.
