Heavy Rainfall, Snowfall Expected from Wednesday to Saturday in Several Moroccan Provinces- Alert Bulletin

According to the DGM, heavy rainfall ranging between 40 and 60 mm will affect the provinces of Al Hoceima, Mdiq-Fnideq, Tétouan, Tanger-Assilah, Ouezzane, Larache, Fahs-Anjra, Chefchaouen, Taza, and Taounate from Wednesday at 8 p.m. to Thursday at 12 p.m. This was stated in an orange-level weather alert bulletin.  

Similarly, snowfall exceeding 1,500 meters (50-80 cm) is expected from Thursday at 9 p.m. to Saturday at 6 a.m. in the provinces of Ifrane, Azilal, Béni Mellal, and Midelt, the same source noted.

Snowfall ranging from 10 to 50 cm will also affect, during the same period, the provinces of Al Haouz, Khenifra, Boulemane, Al Hoceima, Chefchaouen, Sefrou, and Taroudant.

Heavy rainfall and snowfall above 1,500 meters are expected from Wednesday to Saturday in several provinces of the Kingdom, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
