5.2-Magnitude Quake Hits Ouezzane Province, No Damage Reported

The earthquake’s epicenter, which occurred at a depth of 20 kilometers, was located at 34.954° North latitude and 5.635° West longitude, according to the ING.

The tremor, which originated in the municipality of Brikcha, in the province of Ouezzane, occurred at 11:48:43 p.m.(GMT+1), the same source added.

According to local authorities contacted by MAP, no damage has been reported.

 A 5.2-magnitude quake on the Richter scale struck the province of Ouezzane in Morocco on Monday evening, the National Institute for Geophysics (ING) said.
