Guatemala Reiterates Commitment to 'Strong and Constructive' Ties with Morocco

In a statement to the press following her talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita, Bolaños stressed the importance of cooperation with the Kingdom to meet common challenges.

“We are committed to working together in key areas such as sustainable development and technology,” she said, with the aim of “bolstering our bilateral relations through specific programs” of mutual benefit. 

In the same vein, the Guatemalan official pointed out that trade between the two countries “still has significant room for improvement”, noting that both sides agreed to promote public and private stakeholders to work together towards increasing it.

Guatemalan Deputy Foreign Minister Mónica Bolaños reiterated on Tuesday in Rabat her country's commitment to “strong and constructive” bilateral relations with Morocco.
