The agency, operating under the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, is dedicated to serving the Holy City and its residents.
In a statement, the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency noted that the visit, attended by Yemen’s Ambassador to Morocco Ezzedin Al Asbahi and embassy members, aimed to “familiarize the 35 new students with the actions undertaken by institutions in Morocco across various fields.”
The Yemeni delegation inquired about models of social and humanitarian programs and projects aimed at preserving the Holy City, maintaining its religious and cultural heritage, and supporting its residents, including empowerment programs for various social categories.
On this occasion, the Yemeni Ambassador praised the efforts of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, in ensuring Morocco’s tangible presence in Palestine. He highlighted the significance of the Moroccan Cultural Center, Bayt Al-Maghrib, located in the heart of the Old City of Al-Quds, calling it a key project that should serve as a model to follow.
The diplomat recalled the historical ties between Moroccans and Al-Quds, emphasizing the importance for Yemeni students to draw inspiration from this rich heritage, and encouraged them to use it as a foundation for contributing to the development of a modern and stable Yemen, the statement concluded.
