On this occasion, the Spanish Sovereigns were welcomed by the Moroccan Ambassador to Spain, Karima Benyaich, the Director General of the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT), Achraf Fayda, and the President of the National Confederation of Tourism, Hamid Bentaher.

The Moroccan tourism offer will be strongly presented by the ONMT during this 45th edition of FITUR, which runs until January 26 at the Madrid Fair (IFEMA).

The ONMT occupies a large stand with an area of 700 m², staffed by teams from the Office, Regional Tourism Centers from various regions of the Kingdom and industry professionals to promote the Morocco destination.

With nearly 3.5 million tourists, the Iberian market, which presents development potential across all segment opportunities, is highly strategic and a priority for Morocco.

As an essential business and innovation forum for the global tourism industry, FITUR-2025 will highlight the exceptional performance of the sector in 2024 and its promising prospects for this year.

King Felipe VI of Spain and Queen Letizia visited, on Wednesday, the pavilion of the Kingdom of Morocco at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR-2025).
