Government Council to Convene on Thursday

At the onset of its meeting, the Council is set to examine a draft law amending and supplementing the law establishing the Kingdom’s judicial organization, as well as two draft decrees, the first of which concerns the status of scientific attachés at the Ministry of Health, while the second concerns aquaculture in wild waters.

The Council will then review Convention No. 185, revising the 1958 Seafarers’ Identity Documents Convention, as amended by the International Labour Conference at its 91st session held in Geneva on June 19, 2003, and the 2002 Protocol to the Athens Convention relating to the Carriage of Passengers and their Luggage by Sea of 1974, adopted in London on January 1, 2002, along with two draft laws approving the aforementioned convention and protocol.

The Government Council will conclude its proceedings by examining proposals for appointments to higher positions, in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution, the statement concluded.
 

A Government Council, chaired by Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, is set to convene on Thursday, according to a statement from his office.
