Government Council to Convene on Thursday

At the outset of the meeting, the Council will examine a draft law concerning the creation and structuring of the Foundation for the Social Works of Civil Servants in the Penitentiary Administration and Rehabilitation, the statement underlines.

Subsequently, the Council will examine two draft decrees, the first of which concerns competitive examinations for education and training, while the second amends the decree on the conservation of maritime mortgages.

The Council will then proceed to examining a framework agreement on cooperation in logistics between the Moroccan and Azerbaijani governments, inked in Rabat on November 13, 2023, in addition to a bill approving the said framework agreement, followed by an agreement on cooperation between the two governments in the field of energy, also signed on November 13 in Rabat, the press release adds.

The Government Council will conclude its proceedings by examining proposals for appointments to higher positions, in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution, the statement concluded.

A Government Council, chaired by Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch, is scheduled for Thursday, according to a statement from his office.
