In a statement to the press following this meeting, Fall praised the “relations of solidarity, friendship, and economic cooperation” between the two countries, expressing the desire to “strengthen them at various levels.”

She also took the opportunity to mention the upcoming Morocco-Senegal Joint Commission scheduled for early 2025, adding that it represents an opportunity to lay the groundwork for “Moroccan and Senegalese teams to already identify areas and fields of collaboration and partnership between our two countries.”

Furthermore, the head of Senegalese diplomacy stated that she had discussed continental issues with Bourita, as well as partnership matters at the regional and Atlantic levels, noting that the Morocco-Nigeria gas pipeline project was also part of the discussions.

Morocco's Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, received, on Monday in Rabat, the Senegalese Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs, Yassine Fall, who carried a written message from H.E.
