Economy Minister Praises Morocco's 'Catalyst' Role in Driving Continent's Momentum

Speaking at the AIF’s closing ceremony, Fettah highlighted growing interest in the event, calling it evident. She emphasized its role as a unique, successful platform for transformative investments, innovative deals and a genuine marketplace driving Africa’s transformation.

In this regard, the Minister highlighted the promising projects over the three days of the forum, stemming from partnerships and innovative ideas, showcasing Africa’s openness to business and willingness to attract global investors.

She also recalled the Kingdom’s commitment, under the enlightened leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, to strengthening its intra-African partnerships and promoting mutually beneficial cooperation with its partners.

“This commitment is reflected in the establishment of a legal framework that promotes trade and investment with African partners, through the conclusion of several investment treaties, protection agreements and free trade agreements,” she pointed out. 

As host of the 5th Africa Investment Forum (AIF), Morocco is proud to assume its role as a catalyst in the continental momentum launched by the African Development Bank (AfDB) through this forum, Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, said on Friday in Rabat.
